1. About the Platform

Claims Wizard is an independent marketplace that connects individuals who have potential claims (“Claimants”) with specialist professionals (“Specialists”) who may be able to assist them. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and we do not process or manage claims directly. Our role is limited to facilitating introductions between Claimants and Specialists through our enquiry matching service.

2. No Legal Advice

Nothing on this Platform constitutes legal advice. The information provided in our guides, articles, and other content is for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional legal advice tailored to your specific circumstances. You should always consult a qualified legal professional regarding your individual situation.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Platform, you may need to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful purposes.

4. Enquiry Submission and Matching

When you submit an enquiry through our Platform:

• You confirm that the information you provide is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You consent to your enquiry details being shared with Specialists registered on our Platform who operate in the relevant category.
• You understand that we do not guarantee any Specialist will respond to or accept your enquiry.
• You acknowledge that any engagement with a Specialist is a direct relationship between you and that Specialist, and Claims Wizard is not a party to that relationship.

5. Specialists

Specialists listed on our Platform are independent professionals. We do not employ, supervise, or direct them. As a Specialist, you agree that:

• You hold all necessary qualifications, licences, and professional memberships required to provide your services.
• You will maintain appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
• You will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• You will handle Claimant data received through the Platform in accordance with data protection law and your own privacy obligations.
• Your directory listing is accurate and not misleading.
• Premium and Featured tier listings are subject to the membership terms agreed at sign-up. Tier fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform and all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software) are owned by Claims Wizard and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent. Specialist profile content submitted by Specialists remains their property, subject to a licence for us to display it on the Platform.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information or enquiries.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Platform or its servers.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, other accounts, or computer systems.
• Harvest, scrape, or collect data from the Platform without our permission.
• Use the Platform to send unsolicited communications or spam.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Claims Wizard is not liable for the conduct, advice, or services provided by any Specialist listed on the Platform.
• We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of information on the Platform.
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the Platform.
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you have paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. You access them at your own risk.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law) shall survive.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
